How we work
Everything in writing, from first call to go-live.
Here is how a project runs, and what we need from you.

Day 1
We listen first
On a 20-minute call you describe how an order, a purchase and an invoice move through your business. We write a short summary and send it back. If we got something wrong, you tell us now and not in week three.

Within a week
You get one document
Scope, price, dates, who does what, and the payment milestones. It also lists what is not included, so there is no argument about it later.

Weeks 1 to 3
We build on a test copy
Your data goes into a test system first. You and your accountant check stock and balances against Tally. We fix differences until they agree.

Week 4
Training, test and go-live
We train your staff, test the backup and restore, and switch over on a date you pick. For the first two weeks we stay close and fix what comes up.
From you
What we need from you
- One person who can decide, such as the owner or the finance head
- A few hours a week from someone who knows your accounts and stock
- A recent Tally backup or your Excel sheets, and a list of who will use the system and for what
- Access to the GST portal through your own login, only if we set up e-invoicing, which you can change or remove at any time
Payment
How payment works
Payments are tied to milestones: an advance to start, a payment when you sign off the test copy, and a final payment at go-live. The exact amounts and dates are in your proposal.
If you want something that is not in the scope, we write down the extra cost and time first. We start only after you say yes in writing.
How we build
Set up first, code only when we must.
We prefer to configure Odoo instead of writing code, and we keep any custom work small. That keeps your system easier to understand and cheaper to upgrade.
Anything that touches money or stock is tested before it reaches you.
Your data
Your data belongs to you.
We prefer to work in hosting that you own, through accounts you control and can switch off, so you are never locked in. We do not share your data with anyone else.
When the project ends we delete our working copies, unless you ask us to keep them so that we can support you.
